Does Elba inspect every file uploaded to an AI tool?

No. Supported text-based files provide a bounded content excerpt. Binary formats, including PDFs, Office files, most images, and archives, expose metadata only. Incomplete inspection does not itself block an upload.

Which browsers are supported?

Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari are supported. Safari requires macOS 26 and Safari 26 or later, with managed production deployment. Specific capabilities depend on browser, enrollment, and configuration.

Are prompts analyzed only on the employee’s device?

No. A configured control can send the relevant prompt or a bounded content excerpt through Elba’s classification service. Stored findings retain results and metadata. Elba does not use customer data to train AI models.
