The person closest to the work often has the missing context.

Your security team sees an exposed document. Its owner knows whether the external collaborator still needs it. Elba makes that conversation part of the workflow.

01

Make the next step clear.

Employees receive an actionable checklist of assigned issues and training. They can see what needs attention and what they can do about it.

02

Keep legitimate work moving.

Invite the employee to correct the exposure or explain why access should stay. Capture an outcome instead of relying on a disconnected conversation.

03

Keep your team in control.

Choose how findings are distributed and how reminders work. Track open tasks and the actions employees take in the admin workspace.

Security teams see the risk. Employees take action.

Sam, from ElbaYour security assistant

Hi Alex. Finance forecast.xlsx has a public link. Is it still needed?

From a finding to a finished task

A short path from “is this needed?” to action.

Use the example above to see how an exposed document can become a focused employee task. Your available actions depend on the connected application.

01

You choose what needs attention.

Investigate a finding, send it to the relevant employee, or use configured Playbooks to distribute matching issues.

02

Sam brings the task to them.

An invitation takes the employee to their checklist. They review the finding, make an available change, or record why the situation can stay.

03

You keep the outcome.

See whether the issue was resolved or ignored, and follow remaining work. Reminders reflect your cadence and the employee’s pending tasks.

Fits the way your team works

One employee experience. Familiar channels.

Use your preferred communication channel for invitations, reminders and security learning. Email provides a fallback when an employee cannot be matched in chat.

A closer look

The questions that matter.

Does Sam act on every finding automatically?

You control the workflow. Administrators can distribute issues, and configured Playbooks can automate matching actions. Connecting an application alone does not activate automatic remediation.

Do employees need to become security experts?

Tasks focus on decisions employees can make with their business context. Available corrections and guidance depend on the finding and integration. Administrators remain able to investigate and follow up.

Will Sam keep reminding people after they have acted?

Reminders are based on pending actions, your selected cadence and recent employee activity. Invitations are sent to enrolled employees when they have something to do.
